Time for Hard Cider

It's always harvest season when you're brewing your own cider. We love grabbing some fresh apple juice and making a quick batch (or three) of hard cider whenever we get the chance.

Our Hard Cider Kit gets a lot of use. In addition to the equipment you need, it comes with 3 packets of champagne yeast plus enough sanitizer for 3 batches of dry, sparkling cider. Plus, it's totally reusable for any fermented beverage. Just pick up a gallon of juice, and start making some cider. Minimally pasteurized works best.

Try Juicing Your Own Apples

While we usually buy all-natural apple juice at a farmers market or grocery store, at least once a year we try juicing our own apples for a very special autumnal cider. For more tips on choosing which apples to squeeze into your cider, check out the Apple Blending Basics article on our blog.
