We've been asking our spice merchants for their favorite easy dinner recipes, inspired by one of our gourmet spice blends. This week they showed us paprika's smoky potential and how to make delectably nourishing curried lentils.

Smoked Spanish Sweet Paprika We're cheating a bit by not using a spice blend, but that's okay because this sweet, smoky paprika has layers of flavor. A pinch of this fine Spanish paprika will add a touch of flame-cooked flavor to everything you prepare. Vadouvan Curry This is a French interpretation of a masala spice mix from southern India called Vadavam. This Vadouvan French masala curry has a rich, savory flavor that comes from sweet, freeze-dried shallots and aromatic curry leaves.
