You don't need specialized woodworking skills to shape this beautiful dish.
| Hey folks! Pop Mech's Test Editor, Bradley Ford here. While I've typically been tasked with testing and reviewing products, the past few months I've been given some freedom to pursue DIY projects. This has been a great opportunity, because I've got a huge personal back-log of projects on my "to-do" list. Plus, I really enjoy encouraging and helping folks learn how to do things—it's empowering to learn how capable you can be.
Some months ago, I purchased some wood carving discs for my angle grinder and I've been wanting to try them out. A couple weeks ago, I finally had the chance when I decided to do a DIY wooden bowl project. It only took a handful of hours, it's something just about anyone can make with just a couple tools and some sandpaper. The great thing with this project is that the shape and finish are totally up to you. Check it out and make it your own! |
