Pangea 2.0. Around 200 million years ago, Pangea—the humongous landmass that joined together all seven continents—broke apart. Geologists say that in roughly another 200 million, Earth may stitch itself back together again in one of four possible supercontinents: Novopangea, Aurica, Pangea Proxima, and Amasia. The plates are moving, the oceans are opening and closing, and we can't feel a thing. Whatever world eventually forms, here's the bad news: It will probably kill us.
