 The USS Gerald R. Ford joined the fleet 4 years ago. It has yet to make a single deployment.  Twenty-foot waves. All engines on fire. Nine-hundred miles from land.   Take a little off the top to give your yard a well-manicured look.  There's one big difference, though.
 They're powerful enough for binge-watching and web surfing but don't cost a fortune. 
 If you're looking for a washing machine that's affordable, yet can still handle your household's dirty laundry, a top-load washer is the way to go.
